The village of Rougon in the Verdon Gorges
Rougon is a small medieval village located above the majestic site of the “Point Sublime” and has managed to preserve all its authenticity despite changing times. Perched on a steep rock, the village offers a spectacular view on the Verdon Canyon.
The village is one of the starting points for hiking in the Verdon Gorges. The village is peaceful and enjoyable to visit. You will discover the Saint Christophe chapel, the Huguenote church and the remains of its feudal castle. There is also a municipal camping where you can stay throughout the year and a local fair on the last Sunday of July.
