The city of Cassis is a small fishing harbour, about 20 km from Marseille and 50 km from Aix-en Provence, between Aubagne and the famous city of “La Ciotat“.

Cassis is surrounded by the Canaille Cape, whose cliffs (the highest in Europe) overhang the sea at 416 m high, and by the Calanques massif, notched with deep canyons, called “calanques“.
