Its sober façade was built in a neo-classical style while the inner architecture has the richness similar to the Italian theatre rooms, which were very famous at that time for their beauty and purity of their acoustics.

The theatre is classified as Historical Monument. From February 2003 to February 2007, the theatre underwent an important renovation work. It is now equipped with two fully renovated rooms: one dedicated to the Italian theatre and the other one to the concerts.

Fue inaugurado por primera vez en vísperas de la Revolución Francesa, en 1785. Su fachada fue construida en el estilo neoclásico mientras que la arquitectura interior posee una riqueza que se parece a la de las salas de teatro italianas.

El teatro de Arras está clasificado Monumento Histórico. La reciente renovación del teatro duró 4 años (feb 2003 – feb 2007). Ahora el teatro está equipado con dos salas completamente renovadas: la primera está dedicada al teatro italiano y la otra a los conciertos.
