The city of Cassis is a small fishing harbour, at 25 km from Marseille and 50 km from Aix en Provence, between Aubagne and the famous city of “La Ciotat”.

Cassis is surrounded by the Canaille Cape, whose cliffs (the highest in Europe) overhang the sea at 416 m high, and by the Calanques massif, notched with deep canyons, called “calanques“.
